OK, so all I was able to pull off was Mary Had a Little Lamb, but in multiple keys, just poking along picking it out, played for about 20 minutes and it was a nice little practice.

July 2009 goals
1. Use July and August as space to work on my technique.
2. Be very careful about what I agree to play, so I don't get into another overcommitment situation.
3. Work on my legato, clean starts and ends of notes, playing beautifully, playing with dynamics.

In a word, slow it down and get it right.
Not too different from January. Slow it down and get it right. I will not play perfectly by the time I die, so let's just try to play well, now.

Simple goal this month: To play everything as well and as beautifully as possible. Slow things down in practice in order to play them well.
